About

In November 2017 I set out on a very exciting and scary venture of launching my own business (mostly whilst surreptitiously wiping baby sick from somewhere on my arm/leg/hair) with my 3 year old and 7 month old in tow...

In a quest to find some sort of middle ground between an unrealistic showroom of non child friendly loveliness and a chaotic playschool sort of a mess, I started creating a range of handmade oilcloth textile products that appeal to and cater for both grown ups and little ones.

In embracing my passion for craftiness and inspiring my children to experiment with art, nature, cooking and all other messy things they love to do, I have created home-ware and accessories that are attractive and functional along with Craft Kits for Children that don’t make loads of mess and result in long lasting textiles that can be used and cherished for years to come.

I also create memory quilts and accessories; using old clothes to make beautiful unique textiles for customers. These are a perfect way to preserve and enjoy old baby/toddler clothes, rather than having them in a long forgotten box!

My bespoke service includes made to measure seat pads and cushions and baby gifts. I also take in clothing/soft furnishing alterations from local customers; see the ‘alterations’ tab for more details.

After being approached my a local mum in January 2018 I started teaching sewing classes for beginners; something I have hugely enjoyed as I love sewing and thrive on passing this passion onto others. If you live in Norfolk or Suffolk and want to find out more, take a look at the 'classes' page of my website.
