In November 2017 I set out on a very exciting and scary venture of launching my own business (mostly whilst surreptitiously wiping baby sick from somewhere on my arm/leg/hair) with my 3 year old and 7 month old in tow...

I've been a sewing machine addict for over 15 years; I took Textiles GCSE and A Level and have been making textiles ranging from soft furnishings to handbags ever since I learnt the basics. I initially set up Stitch Me Happy in 2011 but only dabbled in creating quilts and cushions for friends and family as I was still working full time as a Marketing Manager.

After having my second son in 2017 I became self employed; launched my range of beautiful and functional home-wares and accessories, started my blog and began teaching sewing... and have loved every minute of it! To see more behind the scenes of Stitch Me Happy, click on the Instagram and Facebook icons at the bottom of this page.

I also create bespoke memory quilts and accessories; using old clothes to make beautiful unique textiles for customers. These are a perfect way to preserve and enjoy old baby/toddler clothes, rather than having them in a long forgotten box!

After being approached my a local mum in January 2018 I started teaching sewing classes for beginners; something I have hugely enjoyed as I love sewing and thrive on passing this passion onto others. If you live in Norfolk or Suffolk and want to find out more, take a look at the 'classes' page of my website.
