sewing club

A small group of beginner to intermediate level sewers

In early 2019 I started a Sewing Club for sewing enthusiasts who live locally to me in Norfolk and wanted to be part of a small friendly group in a relaxed and creative setting, to learn new techniques and work on textiles projects from clothing and alterations to home furnishings and quilting.

  • Sessions take place at the Stitch Me Happy sewing studio in Gorleston, Norfolk

  • Sessions are 2-3 hours long and there are 2-4 sessions per month, with weekday, evening and weekend options

  • Cost ranges from £10-30 per person and includes light refreshments

  • I run sessions with a minimum of 2 people and a maximum of 5 people

  • Pick and choose which sessions to attend; you don’t have to come to every class

  • Details of the Sewing Club and booking system are on our closed Facebook Group but if you don’t have Facebook you will be emailed all relevant information.

  • Use the Facebook group to share sewing tips/advice/projects with fellow sewists

  • Joining is FREE and there is no obligation to attend any sessions once you’ve joined

If you’d like to join the Stitch Me Happy Sewing Club, please email me and I will invite you to join our closed Facebook Group or send you details over email.

It’s also a fantastic place to come and learn hand sewing. If you’re completely new to sewing you’ll need at least 1 individual session with me first - see ‘One to One’ under the Classes tab.
